We very much welcome all children of all ages. There are activities for children of all ages.
It’s a joy to see the children grow over the years and progress from group to group and to witness their faith journey!
Each child is valued, respected and encouraged.
Our mission:
To teach the children who they are and what they have in Jesus and to equip them to become fruitful, effective, lifelong disciples of Jesus.
We welcome all children whether or not their parents come to church. We have a Safeguarding Policy to ensure the protection of the children. All King’s Kids Team Leaders have passed an enhanced DBS check and have regular safeguarding training; we take the safety of the children in our care as our number one priority.
What will the children be doing?
Children require hands-on learning activities which enforce personal, emotional and social development, communication and language development and physical development.
This is achieved through planned activities for example stories, role play, action songs, prayer time, craft activities, team games, free play – eg construction, lego, musical instruments – all activities are linked to support a chosen Bible verse for that week.
All children are offered a healthy snack and drink during the session. We use Snack Time as an opportunity to encourage good manners and involve all the children in serving each other and helping to tidy up.
King’s Mini Kids
King’s Mini Kids is held from 10:00 – 11:30 on the first Wednesday of each month in term time. Children aged 0-4 years are invited to a play session while their parent/carer stays to enjoy coffee, cake and company.
King’s Little Kids
King’s Little Kids is held on a Sunday morning from 10:30am – 12 noon. Children aged 0-4 are welcome to attend for a fun filled faith session. Parents/ carers stay with children aged 3 years and younger.
King’s Kids
King’s Kids is held on a Sunday morning from 10:30am – 12 noon. Children aged 4 – 12 years are welcome to attend a fun filled faith session.
King’s Youth (Bread)
Bread is held on a Sunday morning from 10:30am – 12 noon. Children aged 12 – 15 years are welcome to attend a Bible study group. If they have musical talent Bread are also invited to attend the Worship practice on Tuesday evening from 6:30pm – 8:00pm.
