A glimpse of life at King’s

We have a fantastic Children’s Church Ministry, and it is a joy to see the children grow over the years, move from group to group, and witness their faith journey.

Our mission

To teach them who they are and what they have in Jesus.

To equip them to become fruitful, effective, lifelong disciples of Jesus.

Each child is valued, respected and encouraged.

Our groups

Something for every age

Children grow with us from their very first play session right through to our youth Bible study.

King’s Mini Kids

Ages 0 to 4

Wednesdays, term time, 10am to 11.30am

A play session for little ones, while their parent or carer stays to enjoy coffee, cake and company.

King’s Little Kids

Ages 0 to 4

Sunday mornings, 10.30am to 12 noon

A fun filled faith session. Parents or carers stay with children aged 3 and younger.

King’s Kids

Ages 4 to 12

Sunday mornings, 10.30am to 12 noon

A fun filled faith session for primary age children, full of stories, songs and friends.

King’s Youth (Bread)

Ages 12 to 15

Sunday mornings, 10.30am to 12 noon

A Bible study group for our older ones, growing together in faith and friendship.

What will the children be doing?

Our sessions are full of hands on learning that supports each child’s personal, emotional and social growth, their communication and language, and their physical development.

We get there through all sorts of fun, and every activity links to a chosen Bible verse for the week.

Every child is offered a healthy snack and drink during the session. Snack time is also where we encourage pleases and thank yous, serving one another, tidying up together, and good manners all round.

Safe and welcome

We welcome all children, whether or not their parents come to church. We follow a Child Protection Policy, which is available on our website. All our King’s Kids team leaders have passed an enhanced DBS check and have regular safeguarding training. The safety of the children in our care is our number one priority.
