Your first Sunday
What happens, step by step
- Come as you areThere is no dress code. Jeans and trainers are absolutely fine, and you will see everything from hoodies to the odd suit. Wear whatever you feel comfortable in.
- Arrive a little earlyAim for about 10 minutes before 10.30am. You will get a warm welcome at the door and help finding a seat.
- Join in, or just watchWorship, a Bible reading and a talk. Children stay for the first part, then head off to their own groups.
- Stay for a cuppaTea, coffee and biscuits afterwards. It is the best way to meet people, so do stay and say hello.

A few honest answers
No, not at all. Most people come in jeans and everyday clothes, and a few like to dress up a little. Whatever you feel comfortable in is perfect. Come as you are.
Not at all! We will be welcoming, and you will not be asked to do anything you are not comfortable doing. We want you to feel at home with us.
We do take an offering during our service, but we do not expect visitors to feel obliged to contribute. We are an independently financed church, supported by the regular giving of our committed church family.
Of course. Sit wherever you like and join in as much or as little as you want. Nobody will put you on the spot.
Children are very welcome. They start in the service with everyone, then head off to their own groups for their age, run by DBS checked leaders. Have a look at King’s Kids for the details.

A street market has run here since medieval times. Over 70 stalls line the High Street to Daniel Owen Square, plus an indoor market Monday to Saturday.
Next door to us
Bailey Hill
The Norman castle mound right beside the church. Free to wander, with lovely views over the town.

On the edge of town
Theatr Clwyd
Wales’s largest producing theatre, with a café you can pop into without a ticket. The panto is a local favourite.
Four miles west
Loggerheads Country Park
Riverside walks, a café and plenty of space for families and dogs on leads.
For the views
Moel Famau
The highest point of the Clwydian Range, about a four mile round walk from the Bwlch Penbarras car park.
Keeping active
