elders King’s Christian Centre has a team of elders who lead, oversee and care for the church. Howard Litherland Howard and his wife Liz have been committed to King's almost since the church started in 1993. They have five children and six grandchildren who they love very much. Howard is a sales engineer with a locally based company and Liz is a teacher. As hobbies they enjoy walking, reading, photography and spending time with their friends and family. Rob Hardie Rob and his wife, Jean, have 3 children Mike, Dawn and Daniel, and 5 grandchildren. As a young family they spent several years in the Congo as missionaries. They now run their own Kitchen & Bathroom business. They are building a home in Portugal where they want to offer respite to Christian workers. Stephen Hawkins Stephen and his wife, Belinda, have 2 children Lizzie and Matthew. Following a serious illness, Stephen left his career in the corporate world and now works as a business consultant. In his spare time Stephen enjoys motor sport and cooking. John Mainwaring John is married to Jacquie and they have four children at various stages, Josiah, John, Jana & Jemima. John runs his own graphic design business. John enjoys cycling, the great outdoors and live music. community workers Wendy Swan Wendy is our full-time church worker whose main focus is on outreach to the local community and schools. Wendy spent several years living and working in Canada before joining King’s Christian Centre and training with the light project . Wendy loves skiing, the great outdoors and anything Welsh. Amy Robinson Amy is based with us until Summer 2008 as our resident light project worker supporting our outreach to the local community and schools. Amy grew up in South Wales where her parents run a Christian Retreat Centre.
