King's Christian Centre - Mold

Bible Study Back to Main Menu E-mail

Personal Bible study is encouraged at King's Christian Centre. Exploring the scriptures forms an integral part of the Christian life.

The Book of Acts, Chapter 17 verse 11, tells us that Paul of Tarsus and Silas preached at Berea, and that the inhabitants there were commended because "... they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily," in order find out more for themselves. Many of these people believed as a direct result of that enthusiasm and eagerness.

In a similar way, at housegroups people get a chance to explore what is preached from the bible at the Sunday meetings in a more in-depth way with the aim of increasing and strengthening one another's faith. Housegroups are the ideal place to ask questions about the scriptures and to learn and develop together.

If you have difficulty reading or hearing the bible being read for any reason, we will try to help in whatever way possible. Please make your needs known in private to the housegroup leader.

Visitors to the church are welcome to join in the study of the scripture at any housegroup in any of the following locations:

      • • Mold 1: John & Joy Haime
      • • Mold 2: Marc & Karen Cavallini
      • • Alltami: Bob & Mo Price
      • • Sychdyn/Mynydd Isa: Howard & Liz Litherland

Verse of The Day

“But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,” (1 Peter 3:15)  listen to chapter  (Read by Max McLean. Provided by The Listener's Audio Bible.)
